I've been thinking a lot about the difference between expectation and reality we had as kids. I know for sure that none of you reading this use cursive every day like you were taught to believe in third grade.
These are the three things that I firmly believe our kids will not have to do in their teenage years and beyond.
Learning to drive - Hello,
self-drivingself-flying (?) carsCounting cash - Credit card points and crypto may be the only currencies that matter.
Going to college - This one might be controversial but in the age of AI, I truly believe the value of a formal higher education is going to diminish more so than it has already. Frankly, I fully support my kids choosing a path to learn through a real world environment.
