Day 6
Could wrinkled clothes actually be my parenting superpower?
I THOUGHT...
Hack for folding laundry - don't. I've stopped folding my kids' laundry and instead ask them to sort clothes by tops, bottoms, etc. Each drawer is labeled with a picture so they can sort their own laundry. Since they're not attending royal galas (yet), wrinkled clothes are totally fine. Saves me so much time!
I FOUND...
Reminder that May is Mental Health Awareness month. I recently discovered Child Mind Institute's resources which offers tons of materials for parents managing children of all ages. There is no question or concern too small when it comes to your family and this is one of the most robust compilation of FAQ’s.
I BOUGHT…
If your Mother's Day was left something to be desired (no judgment here), I found some pretty killer deals on home and kitchen items at Nordstrom. I personally have been eyeing these mini cocottes that would be perfect for summer entertaining. Or, you know, eating ice cream straight from the dish while hiding in the pantry.
PARTING THOUGHT:
Mother's Day may be over, but you're still crushing it every single day. Tired? Yes. Perfect? No. Worth celebrating? Always.
Keep smiling,
