What I didn't know to look for in a preschool

When my kids started preschool, I didn't know what to ask. In fact, our initial tour of the preschool lasted about 4 and a half minutes. After having them in preschool for a couple of years now, these are the questions I wish I knew to ask at the beginning:

• What is their vaccination and sick policy?

• Do they ever deviate from the meal plans that they publish?

• What kind of extracurriculars or activities do the kids get exposed to?
